1998 4Runner P0303 Cylinder #3 Misfire?

Purchased truck in July with 78k on the clock

Things i have done since then:
New NGK BKR5EKB-11 Plugs
New Denso Primary Ignition Wires 671-6182
New Timing belt and water pump
Deck plate Mod
1" Body Lift
Everything else I am pretty sure is original...


Randomly started to misfire one night last week driving home for a minute or so, didn't trip check engine light. Went away....

Pulled into car wash (with under body blast) that same night and it started to misfire again and light finally came on. Couldn't see any arcing or anything under the hood. Checked and cleared code P0303....

Next morning drove to work and didn't misfire once. took a few days to start back up again sometimes triggers the CEL and sometimes not....

Today is a good day... no misfiring..... but tomorrow?

Just curious what i should try messing with/replacing first?

Reset the code and move a coil pack to another cylinder. If the code moves, then suspect the coil is bad. I would start there first. From then on out....things get semi-expensive (ie: possible fuel injector, head gasket)
