I went to take a look at this ride the other day. What a waste of my time and gas, don’t waste yours.
1999 Toyota 4runnner 4x4 limited 115k
The only thing in the ad that is accurate is the mileage. The paint is peeling off, there are dents all over, the carpet is nasty and has wear holes in it, the seats are cracked and ripped, the front bumper is bent down from an accident, there is no timing belt sticker and it doesn't look new by any means, it has a drip of a fluid, the suspension is shot, it shakes at high speeds, it pulls bad to the right when you accelerate, the dash is missing buttons, the dash lights in the A/C and Heat panel go in out depending what button you press (and no it is not digital), the antenna is broken, when you put it in park it makes a loud clunk, the tires are not "brand new" (look to have about 20K left on them), obviously been smoked in and the overall cleanliness of the vehicle was worse than a bathroom in Tijuana.
Long story short, pass on this one! I should have known better than to check out a T4R with no pictures. The only thing the guy wanted to discuss is if I wanted to buy it and if I could get the cash right away. I had to hold back laughter when he was asking me.
On the bright side it did make me appreciate mine significantly more.
