I would have been leery of an Ohio vehicle anyways. I purchased my 3rd gen late last year and it was an Ohio vehicle. The rust under it isn't horrible, but it definitely is worse than I had hoped for.

It depends on the previous owners. You can get an idea by looking at the rust trailer hitch. This truck was a 1 owner & garage kept, 72,000...fu@kin' gorgeous!

Don't buy a car in Ohio if you are not a resident of the state! Ohio's BMV does not work with any other state. I have purchased two wonderful Toyota's from Ohio but the paperwork was insane and I live one state south in Kentucky.
I took me 11 months to get my title for my 08' Tacoma. They couldn't give me temp tags so I drove illegally from 10 months! Plus, Ohio rust is roughhhhhhh!

My next rig is coming from the west so I don't have to battle rust.
