1999+ multi function stalk (fog light switch) in a 1998

Hey, i went and bought myself one of these multi function stalks at the PNP the other day from a 99 limited. I did some research on them but i cant seem to find anyone whose installed them in an older model, i swore i have, since i had to have gotten the idea from somewhere, but i'm spacing on it.

what would be the best approach to wiring this into a 98 limited?
