1999 SR5 with e-locker

Hi, new to the 4runner world, but it was always in my bucket list. Finally was able to find something in decent shape. But I live in the rust belt, it has rust.


1999 Toyota 4runner Sports utility.
V6 4WD SR5, e-locker.
170k miles.
2 Owner, 2nd owner had it since 2003.

I told my wife and myself that my 4Runner was going to remain BONE STOCK and reliable for a while, because it is supposed to be my daily driver.

However, OEM appearance mods don't count... Right? For no reason, other than appeasing my inner ricer, want a sport hood with the scoop.

Auto or standard? I considered a 3rd for a long time before I bought my 08 4th gen. Might end up still buying one since my son is driving now and is thinking about a runner as well...

So the e-locker was just an extra option right? I’ve been trying to figure out what combos and colors they came in. I found a thread that had color combos but all I see are black, green, silver or white and nothing else.

I’ve been looking for a 99-2000 sport 4x4 5speed in a V6 and literally nothing exists or it’s silver and stupid expensive with 250k plus miles on it
