I have been browsing this forum for the past 2 years but it wasn't until recently that I decided to create an account. I own an 1987 4Runner SR5 with a new 22r from Toyota. My dad bought this 4Runner brand new, from the dealer and has been in the family since then.
Anyways, on to my question. Is the rear window relay module in the 1st gen, the same in the 2nd gen? Or 3rd? I ask this because I am having the dreaded rear window problem and it's a bit easier for me, at the moment, to purchase the rear window module from a 2nd gen, as to oppose to attempting to repair the current relay module (with the Radio Shack relays and soldering).
I'm hoping someone can answer this question as soon as possible. Thanks!
