1st and 2nd gen ARB bumper

I have a 94 auto v6 4wd, ifs of course. A guy nearby has an ARB front bumper on his 88 t4r. He did an SAS on his rig and modified the ARB bumper to mount to his crossmember. I know the bumpers are compatible with 86-95 ifs, but any idea if this will still mesh with my rig? I've asked him to take some pics...waiting. Thanks in advance

Depends on how he modified it.

It will also leave a 1" gap between the top of the bumper and your grill, because the fronts of the 1st gens are a little lower than the 2nd gens.

That's his listing. Basically, he modified it but it is still bolt on compatible. He's going to take some pics tonight...

If it's raised 2" to fit his BL, it may not fit if you don't also have a 2" BL.

But would fit mint if you had a 1" bl.

From the pic, it looks like it should fit your truck. Ask him if you can test fit it before you buy it.

So I would need a 1" body lift (or so) for it to line up with my 2nd gen? Hmmm. Still awaiting his pics...
