Yea I'd like to see how those turn out at night. I'd like to order them too but I don't want to go with ones that are too bright for the license plate.

I have a feeling they are going to be bright, really bright. The link below is what I ordered. I didn't see to many choices for the 168 bulb, but then again I didn't look too hard. If the plate is bright I really won't care. I'm mainly worried about it lighting up the lower center half of my entire truck. UPS says they'll be here Monday, we'll find out then...

I performed this mod on my 2009 Toyota 4Runner Urban Runner. Everything went great. The only problem that I had was replacing the dome light in the passenger section. The LED board was a little too wide for the plastic housing. I used a small knife to shave away some of the plastic on the housing (NOT on the LED board), and that seemed to do the trick.
I really like the look of the LEDs. It provides a "white" light as opposed to the yellowish light that the stock bulbs had.

I picked up all of the LEDs in the first post, except for the license plate bulbs. The total with shipping was $48.
Where did you get the info for the DRL mod that you have in your sig?

I went and counted how many bulbs of each type I would need to pull this off a while back but lost the document I saved it in. Could you verify the quantities for me please?
5 pairs 194's for running boards (4), license plate (2), door panels (4)
1 pair 194's for map lights
2 3175's for middle dome lights
1 3175 for rear dome light

Correct, 4 for the running boards and 4 for the doors, 2 for maplights and 2 for license plate. I made a small correction above in bold. Six pairs of 194's.
Not sure about your middle dome light (if you have the rear seat entertainment system (RSES) or the Limited with the back seat audio), but on mine it's one bulb in each (over the second row and cargo area). Both dome lights are the same in mine. (I don't have the rear seat audio or RSES.) One pair of 3175's.
On an '06 without RSES, you would need (12) 194's and (2) 3175's total.
-Four door lights (194) = 2 pair
-Two Map Lights (194) = 1 pair
-License Plate lights (194) = 1 pair
-Middle Dome Light (Oznium Ultra-Thin 18-LED)
-Trunk Dome Light (Oznium Ultra-Thin 18-LED)

I believe that 3022 is a more popular size for the festoon bulbs. That's what I have always purchased. Just like the 194's are also 168's, the 3022's are also 3021 and 3175. Most sites that I have used list 3022.
Not of you want the Oznium, which IMO are VERY worth it. Order the dome lights from them then get the rest from V-LED's. Where are you seeing 18 LEDs? I have their biggest strip and it has 14. Any more than that and it would be too bright.

He must have counted wrong. Their 5" strip has 14. You may even want to get one size smaller unless you get warm white. The cool white is blindingly bright.
The Oznium strips are definitely worth the money. I have tried dozens of LED's and they far surpass anything else I have used. I first had blue, but it became useless in the cargo area when off-roading. So I got a cool white for the back dome light, and still have blue for the front dome light. If/when I switch that one to cool white as well, I may not get the 5" strip because of how bright it is. I don't want to blind people getting in. They turn your dome lights into headlights.

like hb 4x4 said, the ozniums 1.5 x 5 for the domes may cost a little more but are well worth it, then v-leds for the rest. putco has a good kit also. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-g...it-4runner-specific-sale-upgrade-led-now.html

Thanks for the correction.
I don't have rear seat audio or anything. Just wasn't sure if there was a bulb on each side of that dome light.
