2.7 L 4 cylinder?

I am goofing off at work today and discovered starting in 2010 Toyota went with a cartridge oil filter which freaked me out. I searched for a price on the cartridge filter for a 2010 4R and engine size was questioned, 4.0L or 2.7L.

Is there anyone with a 2.7L 4 cylinder engine? What is it like? What is the 0-60 MPH (100 KPH)? What kind of MPG do you get?

If your buying, get the 4.0L V6

Toyota dropped the 2.7 for the 2011 year for a reason, not that it's a bad engine but it's way to small for a beast like the 4Runner.
