2 grease guns?

Everything I read about greasing the zirks on the drive train indicates 2 types of grease required. Why can't I just use Mobil 1 synthetic on all the zirks? What will happen in the long run if I do? I don't believe if taken to Jiffy Lube or even the stealer that they would find all of the zirks, let alone pay attention to which zirks get which type of grease.

I do use Mobil 1 on everything. In later model years, they changed the wording in the owners manual such that it says you can use the same lithium base NLGI 2 grease for everything or you can use moly grease on the slide yokes.

Mobil 1 synthetic grease here too. Anyone notice the Mobil 1 grease separates and oil drips out of the gun? Does the grease become less effective?

I think just about any grease will seperate if you leave it in grease gun long enough, especially if you leave pressure on it. Try taking some of the pressure off the grease canister when you're not using it. It seems to have helped mine. I had some Valvoline synthetic grease "thicken up" in my gun before I started to use the Mobil 1. You'll be able to tell if the grease has dried out.
