2" hitch adapter

Hi all I have a 2" hitch on my '17 4Runner. I got a free mint condition 2 bike Yakima Holdup. It is the 1 1/4" hitch size. The manual says not to use an extender adapter. I found the following adapter. Does anyone use this style? How difficult is it to line up 3 holes? My adapter use a blot to screw into place.

should work as long as the threads on the bolt are long enough to clear the extra material. i use a similar rack.

yep, you're only using it for a bike rack, might not use it for towing a 20' boat.
