I appreciate that your focus has always been simply on helping folks fix their rigs. Gaining a following has just been a natural result. Both of you have expended tons of time and energy for other people's benefit.

Can't thank you guys enough for the videos. I've watched them before tackling most maintenance jobs on my truck. Including links to the parts and the torque specs is just a step above what most everyone else does. Hats off to you guys, and looking forward to more!

Having a pizza show up in the middle of a repair just like Jeff Spicoli did in Mr. Hand's history class in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High would be pretty cool.
People have asked in the past how they can donate but we don't really want to take money from people. We do accept lunch and beers from those that we help with jobs that we make videos from. I know it sounds corny but I usually tell people to just pay it forward and help somebody out with a vehicle maintenance job, repair job or a modification. You could also spread the word about our channel to other 3rd Gen owners because the more people that find our channel the better. We're making these videos to Educate and Empower people to handle their own automotive needs so they can be self-sufficient, save lots of money and then hopefully pass on that knowledge to others.
I tell people all the time that comment on our channel that there's nothing special about Sean and I. Some people think we're professional mechanics and I correct them every time. I tell them we're just normal DIY Dudes. I also tell them if you're armed with the Right Information, the Right Tools, and you have a Willingness to Learn, you can handle most of your automotive maintenance, repair and mod needs. With the birth of the internet where information is shared on forums like this and on YouTube videos, being a successful DIYer has become much easier.
Another thing that most people probably don't know is most of the videos we've made, it was our first time performing the job. We do research beforehand looking at the Factory Service Manual and look for existing write-ups/videos and then we go for it. We are literally learning while we're teaching others how to do it.
Anyone that has made videos knows it can be a very labor intensive and frustrating process. You don't see it in the videos but there's plenty of swearing that goes on and I get impatient because I just want to get the job done but we have to get the camera at the right angle, get the lighting right and then I have to speak and try not to stumble over my words and describe things well so the viewer understands what's going on.
Some people think we're making tons of money and money is a big motivator for us because we have monetized our videos but I quickly correct them. Could we make big money one day like successful YouTubers Chris Fix, Eric the Car Guy, Engineering Explained and Scotty Kilmer to name a few? Big, Big Maybe and most likely not. Our goal is helping people and the money from advertising is a small return on the time we invest. If making money was my goal, I could just work a 24 hour overtime shift at my fire department and make more money in one day than we make in 5 months from our channel.
Our favorite payment is hearing back from viewers that tell us how much they appreciate our videos. We never tire from hearing how a video has helped somebody out. It brings a smile to our face every time.
