20" tire sizes?

I am currently running 20" Enkei wheels with Kumho Ecsta (sp?) 265/50/20. I have no lift, but do have an issue when I crank the wheel all the way to the left/right and do it quickly, I hear a popping sound on occasion.
Not sure exactly what is causing it, but I think it may have something to do with the wheels contacting somewhere. I do have a slight rub too, when it is turned at full crank and going over a curb, bump, etc. It isn't bad enough to where I've had to trim, though.
Are you running the XSP package Enkei wheels? The truck im about to purchase has the XSP wheels, but Im looking to go up a tire size to 275/55/20 or 285/50/20. Worse case I'll just put some 5100s up front to give it a bit of clearance.

These were 295/50/20 stock, they rubbed on the uca's at full lock and on a slight inline. A daystar leveling kit fixed it. I later put on 285/50/20 sized tires with no problems. both sizes needed trimming and the liner underneath modded(trimed and moved forward, that was a PITA

285 50 r20 is close to 265 65 r17, i run 22 so 285 40 r22 works for me.

I loved those rims on the 4runner, but with winter approaching I swapped them out for GY duratracs 265/70/17 on my stock rims with 1.25in,1.5in spacers. IF I knew I would like the latter more I would have not purchased the rims and gone straight to the lift and off road look instead of the sweet 20's. Just giving you some food for thought since I was in the some thought process less than 9 months ago. Either way I'm sure you will like your choice and get hooked by the mod bug :lmao:

Ok popping sound.....have u had alignment before...on my last alignment the moron didn't tighten the nuts tight enough. I tighten them up n it quieted it down probably got to do it some more. I didn't want to break n e thing..chek it out.. since I'm lowered I won't go n e bigger on tire.

Yep, mine definitely pops and can rub at times when at a full crank.
I'm honestly not sure what package I've got on mine, its what it came with when I bought it!

haha, yes! I can't wait for that day.....I'm just still waiting on deciding what I'm going to do....I've got XREAS now and it's got low miles....either do the spacers or do it right and buy all new stuff and rip out XREAS.
p.s. I'm moving to FLL in a couple of weeks to join the sofla crew! ha.

Ronsta, thanks, I believe they are bbs(20x9.5) off an xsp tundra or fj,.. I got them off a member in Virginia back in May, I wanted them that bad that I drove about 8 hours to get them!

I don't know the offset, but they aren't the same offset as stock. In that picture, they were mounted with no wheel spacers and they came out flush with the edge of the fenders, they looked perfect!!
