Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a 2000 runner 2wd with 107k miles for $10,700. Its the sr5 model, has the timing belt and all maintenance done. Lifted 3 inches, bf' Goodrich all terrain tires with 80% tread, shrockworks custum front bumper w/ piaa lights built in. New coils & shocks, infinity speakers, amp and 10" sub. CB radio installed and safari roof rack. Only had 2 owners and from the pics it looks sweet! My ? is..,is it worth it with this amount of miles and mods for the price? I've found a few for around $10,000 with only 70k-90k miles but there all stock. In a way I'd like stock and built it the way id want but the one for 10,700 looks sooooo good and I know these things run forever. I think I can talk him down to $10,000 but I'm a little puzzled on what I should do. What do y'all think? Thanks.

wow thats price seems high, dont know what state your from. But still seems very high you can do your own upgrades for less $. Plus its only 2wd. Also when people mod there cars there really isnt any return value on the parts. Id only pay between 6k-7k maxxxxxx.

Well in my area of the country that truck would probably be selling for around $9,000 from a private party, $13,000+ from a dealership.
In fact I was getting rather discouraged for a month or so prior to finding mine because I was seeing basically dead stock trucks that were 99' to 01' with 160-200+K miles on them selling for more than $8000 and worse yet they all looked like they were driven by a family of apes, the interiors were trashed.

Sounds to me like it is worth easily $9,000 as long as its in excellent condition especially if all the mods and improvements are fairly recent.
Hell tires and roof rack alone would cost ya $2000 right there probably, so it doesn't sound like that bad of a price for only having 107K miles on it.

Only problem I see with it is its a 2x4, that should knock at least $1000 off minimum.
