Guess not. Well I was thinking about the 2uz but the 1uz is lighter and has a little bit more horse power.
Im still working on mine. A little t a time. just put 2008 Tacoma Bench Seat in it in Oct. But its slow going. I only work on it when I get the itch.
Still having problems figuring out how to fit a radiator in the darn thing. I can have a radiator or a fan, but not both.
Truck keeps getting pushed to the back of the list. I bought the air Fox Air shocks for it and the Dana 60s... But i have been building 3 other trucks in the last couple years that keep trumping this one.
I built two 4th gens, one 1st gen and bought, built and paid off a 2013 all in the last 24 months. It looks like this one gets pushed back again. Not to mention i Just moved to OH and i left the truck at a friends house in TX.

I can empathize with you about putting projects on the back burner. Once done it is very hard to get them rolling again. I have a hot rod truck project I've been working on for 7 or 8 yrs. ('50 Ford F1 on an S10 Chassis, Corvette Independent rear, Lincoln 4.6 4 cam.) I keep towing it around, but I can't seem to work on it.
Your radiator/fan space issue is a deal breaker in my view. I saw an early p/u with a small block chevy once, it had the engine set back (hammered firewall) and electric fans. I can't imagine how poorly it cooled.
