2000 Ltd mods, for an aggressive look

The same ways any other 3rd Gen would be. What exactly are you asking about? A 2000 Limited is the same platform as any other 3rd Gen.

I'll post here with what I've done and in about 2 weeks ill post again after lift. I might also be getting tint, rack, and front bumper but I dont want to get ahead of myself. Here she is with a bit of paint and a 1" body lift.

Lift that bad boy up. Get some tires for it and T4R.ORG decal.

Depends on your idea of aggressive. And if you just want the look but not a serious off-roader (well, more serious than they already are out of the box). Also, depends on how much you are willing to spend.

A good start is to remove the running boards. Go boardless or replace with sliders.

A lift with bigger tires and new wheels will get you there. Or even just some slightly bigger all-terrain tires on the stock rims with no lift is a little more aggressive looking. Some also like something like a brushguard on the front.

My LTD is a "little" more agressive looking than stock just because of the BFG AT's mounted on it. It would be a little more aggressive if I removed the boards (but my women aren't going to like that). If I did my homework and figured out how to put some bigger wheels/tires on without a lift, that would take it another step. Then adding a lift would really start to make a visual difference.

I have a 2000 Limited with 285s and a 5 in lift. this makes my car look MUCH more agressive. The window tint also adds a little extra.

First the gold emblems need to be black :)

Just picking up, tomorrow. Not thrilled with the cladding. Love the pic's, that a few have posted. Thanks! It has new tires, so not sure if I should go spend money on tires, when they are new. Sure would like to have black bumpers and maybe even the cladding. Will lift.
Keep sending pics........... of 2000 Limited's. The mods look so much different on them, than on SR5's and earlier models.

If you haven't seen pics, I think you'll be surprised by what just removing the running boards will do. However, I think the cladding will look worse if you go black on the bumpers and don't color match it. You could always try to sell the tires. Not as hard a pill to swallow when you didn't pony up the cash to buy them to start with.

Are you saying black the cladding also?

I was thinking about blacking bumpers and cladding but not sure if you can do that......

Like tucsons4runner

That is what I was talking about, black cladding and bumpers. Are those painted or plastic dipped?

What color is your rig?
If it's a light color, maybe go with a darker shade based on that color. Too much contrast can be extreme looking.

Here is mine.. i'ld like to think mine is aggressive looking.. atleast when its not in my garage broken.

Wanna be flex shot.
