i would call first and supply your VIN to save a wasted trip....

also make a reservation if you do go in...

just ask if your lower ball joint recall has been previously performed.

they have a record of all "dealership" installed items..

i found out today that my lower ball joint was previously preformed in september of 2005 at the SF dealer... its been 10 years though!! and now with the lift i'd say its time to do it again just for peace of mind.... and safety of course

Should be able to take it to a dealer of your choice. A recall is a safety issue that any dealer should take care of.

This I gotta checkout, got this truck in 2012 and the PO probably didn't get this done. I'm assuming this because they had to have been a monkey because of the shape of the truck when I get it( looked to been used as a beater). I'm currently in full preventive maintenance mode cuz id like
Another 200k miles out of it.
