I have a 01 4runner rwd. The back is starting to sag pretty bad. When i hit a big enough bump it makes a clicking sound that i can feel.. Not sure what it is but i want it fixed.. Would a suspension lift fix this? or is there an easier way to go about things. any input is appreciated

Your problem with the rear would most likely be attributed to broken shocks, If you feel like you're bouncing over bumps then the shocks have failed it's dampening ability so it definitely needs replacement...

Clunking noise could just as well be the shocks breaking or coming away from the top mount.

Shocks are just dampers.
Sag is caused by fatigued springs.
The sound could be caused by a bad bushing in a suspension link, sway bar, or even shock bushing, for starters.
