2001 sr5

Hey everyone I got my 4runner about a month ago. It's been good so far. Interior was really clean and paint was in excellent condition. 104k miles.

It does have a few things that need to be addressed. I'm getting a p0420 code and the lean code (forgot the number). I'm leaning towards it being the rear o2 sensor but my truck does have a Toyota maintenance record that indicates Toyota looked at it and suggested replacing the cats after they tested the sensors.
What are you guys using for aftermarket replacement cats? I saw a MagnaFlow part but have also read some bad things about their quality.

The truck also has a leak at the rear pumpkin. I took a look, and it appears to be coming from the e-brake cable attachment which is no longer there.

I plan to wire brush it down put some JB on it or weld it if necessary. Then some por15 and some paint.

Lastly my SR5 did not come with factory fogs. I was able to pull a set from local yard but the brackets I could not get off. I gotta try to fab something up if I can't get the brackets separately.

Pics to come after work.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to searching and taking part in the forum

I had a p0420 code. Replaced both o2 sensors with Denso's from Amazon. Cleared it right up and passed emissions.

Congrats on the new 4runner. Research the fog light splash shield; I ruined a set one rainy day. Basically, I took a plastic milk jug and fashioned a couple splash guards so that the lights wouldn't get power-washed by the tires. Good luck with the JB weld on the back pumpkin.
