Without going back and looking, did you mention mainenance records/a nice little 'history' on it? I think it helps when people hear an honest history of a car/truck.

I did

Oil changed regulary, tires rotated reiligously, brakes about to be replaced, o2 sensor replaced, other than that, the thing has not needed anything.

If it makes anyone feel all warm and fuzzy, I was a structural and hydraulic mechanic on $18 million helicopters while serving in the Navy for 5 years.....so if I did anything myself (o2 sensor) you can rest assured, the hands of an aviation mechanic did it

I cant believe this thing has not sold. Did you miss out on the truck deal? Im also in the KC area, so I will spread the word around. I know of a few people that might be interested. I would buy it in a heartbeat if I didnt already have one.

14000 are you serious that is ridiculously low, that thing would sell like hot cakes here in California or Colorado, i bet you can just drive around here with a for sale sign and someone will stop you and buy it lol

I am literally getting nothing on it....I have had it listed for over a month now, over 2 weeks at below $15k

Carmax, the place I found the Tundra at, tried to give me $11k for trade-in...THAT IS NUTS! They claim to be fair, and often times, will offer current market value, well, i have a dealer login for the national auction and their "offer" was $1k below AVERAGE market value for the week....and $2k below average value for the last couple weeks....I then had them show me their 4runner listings nationwide and guess what....just a standard 2004 sport, 2wd, they are selling for $15,998....so, they want to take me for $5k, as well as make a pretty penny on the Tundra.....

The only crappy thing about the whole deal is I paid (gambled) on being able to sell the 4runner for at least $14k in 21 days.....that is the amount of time it was to take for them to deliver the tundra from Miami, FL to here in KC.....well that didnt happen, obviously, on top of that it took them over 30 days to get it here, then they lost the title.....and here i sit, with a perfectly good 4runner, that no one wants.....the shipping cost, to me, for the tundra, was $700....which I was glad to pay, gambling on the fact that I would sell the 4runner....it is looking like I am about to lose that gamble, eat the $700, and move on with the 4runner.

Have you tried ebay? It's free unless it sells, then its only $250?
Local dealer sent me a note in the mail saying the "black book" trade in value of my 04 was 13.6$

Looking to upgrade from a 02 SR5 4Runner 4WD w/139K, leather, few bumper dings/1 on rear hatch, interior very clean, everything works as it should/no rattles, et, timing belt/HOH pump at 60K (oem pump was leaking)-dealer fix-have paperwork.
Last year (~130K): alternator, battery, front calipers, rotors, pads, Kumho Venture APT.
Mobil1 synthetic and air filter every 10K, since my ownership 97K, 9/08. No towing by me, 1st owner had a small pop-up camper.
