I guys,
I got my timing belt replaced about a month ago. I started to get random misfire codes on every cylinders a week ago.
Yesterday, I brought the T4R to the carwash. Hikes! Engine stalled as soon as the water jets hit the front.
I brought the truck to my mechanic friend. We spent the after noon trying to figure what kind of human error during the belt change process could be causing it.
We finally nailed the spot. (See attached picture)
We suspect the mechanic might have damaged the CamShaft positioning sensor/wiring or circuit as we are getting a OBDII P0345 code.
What do you think?
Picture - One table spoon of water poored in that crack (see arrow) kills the engine. Then it is very difficult to get it start. We also get P030(1to8) codes aka misfires.
