2006 4Runner, head unit upgrade question

Can someone let me know, what wiring harness i need?

I want to upgrade my headunit but keep everything else factory. speakers/amp/sub etc.

I have a 2006, JBL with the 5 disk changer.

I just completed doing a HU upgrade to a Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS and I will say there is a ton of info out there. When it comes to just the wiring harness you will be looking at the Metra TYTO-01 Amp Interface. If you are retaining the JBL system it is the only "wiring harness" you will need. I've added a link below.

You also need to know that prior to removing your old head unit for the last time you need to make sure...

1) Balance is set to "center"
2) Fader is set to "center"
3) Volume is all the way up
4) Surround mode is "off"
