2006 4runner?...hilux surf(japan)

that piece under the lights is different, but I wonder if you replaced that too, if the new lights would fit?

I think lots of people are wondering the same thing, I know I am. Those lights are very cool. It would be really nice if you could change the lower trim piece and slip those bad boys right in.

I like a lot of the changes. No one's mentioned a note in the press release that alludes to a thicker wildshield to lower wind noise. I thought the '05 was unbelievably quiet for a true offroader, so additional quiet is even better!

I hat the idea of removing the rear bumper reflectors and the low DRL's! They added distictiveness to the truck and a more masculine appearance, IMO. T4R was already departure-angle-challenged, so I'm disappointed they sacrificed even more angle for a more asthetic bumper.

I think, given the increased civility of the '06 demonstrating the direction Toyota is going, this is probably the last chance to buy a "true" 4Runner, before the "civilians" get them to water it down and blur it in with the Highlander.

I'm ordering my '06 next week!

I didn't even notice the DRL's were missing. So did they go back to headlight DRL's?

Oh I hate that, that would be the first thing I would try and disable.

I too like the lower DRL's that our 03-05's have. I can always tell another 4Runner from miles away because of them.

Just wonder if they changed the instrument cluster at all?

I think I saw some pictures of the guages where the turn signal is now inside the circular parts instead of above. Sorry, that kind of sounds confusing, but once you see the pictures you'll know what I mean..
