Is it me or does this open the doors up to changing out the whole front and rear bumpers along with the body trim on the 03 to 06 Trim? I would really like to do this!!

If I remember correctly some of the V8 versions may have had a front bumper like that.

I bought my V6 brand new and it came in on Gulfstate Toyota. But I remember that this year had a new body style and the lady mentioned that Dupont got involved with the fenders, etc to color match. I bought mine later 2006 like around December.

I think it is possible that you may in fact have a 2006 but with the 2005 bumpers. However, that would be odd. In fact, if you see a 2005 or 2006 you can tell because of the front and rear bumpers mainly.

Oh and BTW. I beleive the 2005 v8 had the option of LED tail lights.

I have that on mine but that was more likely with the LED option.

I have slept since then but I remember many little things like this. I could be wrong, however.

It's definitely an option. It would be a pricey one though after you buy both bumpers and all the door and fender trim plus have it all painted. I think you would probably have to update the headlights as well. Maybe just the filler pieces. Then there's the grille change as well. The newer one just covers that upper edge of the hood.

It's as if you have a Hilux Surf...er...wait, maybe a Surf Hilux as the rear is opposite along with the front...Hmmm, score?!

its a late 2005 with some 06 leds tails and spoiler. the 06+ have rounder fenders.
