2008 4runner rear window won't roll down with ignition key

I just had some repairs done on the rear hatch of my 2008 Four Runner. After I picked it up from the body shop, I attempted to put some groceries in the back utilizing the ignition key. It would not roll down as it usually did in the past. The button located on the dash works fine; it activates the rear window flawlessly. I just want the ignition key switch to work! Is there a reset for this?

I know you're probably are aware of this, but did you switch keys anytime while having it serviced? I know that the gray valet key has limited abilities. Maybe this is not the fix, but just throwing it out there.

Sounds like a wire was left disconnected when the body shop put it all back together. I'd let them make it work again.

The key unlocks the doors(I can hear it). I'm not sure, but , doesn't the key only roll down the rear window, and not roll up? I'm taking it back on Friday. I did not give them another key. I'm just wondering if the keys electronics need to be reset or the battery disconnected?

There is some some type of security built-in to the controller that is located within the back door panel.

I had my lock mechanism out as it was sticking, when I put it back in and plugged in, the panick alarm starting going off. Then neither the window or lock would work. Had to manually release the latch from inside the truck. After unplugging and plugging the controller with the doors unlocked, everything worked normal.

Sounds like a wire. The key does up and down. Does the button on your remote work? That only does down.
