2008 4runner Serious Cold Start Issues

Difficult question to answer, the problem appears to have been resolved for the most part, when I started using a higher octane fuel. I am unable to say what the issue is/was because I did so much work to the vehicle and the weather heated up. If I had to guess what resolved it I would say it was a combination of:

Higher Octane Fuel
Cleaned Throttle Body
Cleaned MAF
Seafoam

But I cant say what solved it or quite honestly if it is even solved, will have to wait for winter.

Sure would be nice if folks would post the results so others could benefit. People ask for advice and gladly take it but some never seem to post how they resolved their problem. Kind of defeats the purpose of the forum.

Nicely said Greg, clearly for a 1 month period I reported back all of my findings and participated in this thread, I deeply regret not being able to resolve the issue and responding back in a timely manner for you. :moon:
