OE is 265/60/18. Prev owner bought Sumitomo Tour Plus LXT.
These tires are VERY quiet :) I like that.
I'm in Chicago area and I probably won't encounter much more than snow and rain. This week I will do the FJ 4x4 coils and Bilsteins, expecting ~2" front and maybe a little in rear.
PROS n CONS to chging wheel size and tire size?
What's your choices and why?

Are you going to be going off road or is your car going to wheel around the grocery store? I use bfg ko2 and they only hum if you have the window down besides that I can barely hear them

I'm also contemplating the ko2, mine will mostly be used in town but I want to be able to take a turn down a side road or take the truck on the beach without worrying. From what I've heard the ko2s are a good choice for those uses.

+1 on the KO2's... I wanted something for my DD that was aggressive enough (look & performance), but didn't kill MPG or wear too quick. Been running them about a year and they've been great in all conditions I've used them.

If I we’re toolin’ around greater CHI-town, had a modest lift, planned on retaining the OEM wheels and we’re buying today I’d go with Michelin DEFENDER LTX M/S Highway All-Season’s in 265-65/18. Doesn’t mean squat to others, just what I’d buy. FWIW, I ran LTX MS/2's for a few years in 265/60-18, thought it was a pretty good all-around tire on a Limited with XREAS.

Upgraded an 08’ Limited V6 earlier this year and I focused on my intended use and practicality. Went with a moderate, simple suspension upgrade (for performance improvement, added load carrying capability and durability over stock) coupled with rubber that balances the always elusive on/off-road compromise. I wanted; E-rated, to use the stock Limited 18’s because I like em’, a spare that fit the stock carrier, an overall height that allows me entrance to my suburban garage with a ski rack on and a ‘fit’ that was commensurate with my lift and real-world use. I also wanted to stay somewhat close to stock specs for various reasons (gearing, ODO, weight p/wheel, etc.), but still get a little larger foot-print. Not concerned with what it looks like at the mall or DD’ing, I want a ride that gets me to the trail-heads, fishing holes, remote areas to shoot and to do some occasional recreational wheelin’ here in CO. Went with Terra Grappler G2’s in 265/65-18’s. I could run a bit larger and more aggressive tire but not sure I ever will (brand agnostic).

Choose aftermarket wheels and/or different usage requirements…a LOT of choices open up as you know.
