2008 audio/NAV

Well I am thinking about getting a 2008 Limited to replace my 2003 SE.The SE had the stock HU and I replaced it with a Scion unit some years ago. However this time I am thinking about getting the JBL synthesis.
Any advice on what to get. I want Ipod and XM too. Is the NAV unit worth it. How do the two compare?

The JBL system without the nav has two more speakers (10 compared to 8 with nav). I don't mind the sound system that comes with the stock nav system. The nav is definitely worth it because it is a very easy system to use, you get the backup camera, and bluetooth. The other difference is you get a 6-disc changer with the non-nav JBL and only a 4-disc changer with the nav.

:iagree: with everything Mark said. Bluetooth works great with newer phones, my Treo755 works much better than my 650 did with the nav. It now displays signal and battery strength.

Why not get the base stereo and just upgrade to an aftermarket unit?
