Hey Folks....
I'm looking to see if anyone has any advice for me regarding my rig.
On Friday, I got in the truck and it would not run. I turns-over but dies within a second or two.
I had it towed to a local shop here in the Denver suburbs(not a dealership) for repairs. They ran diagnostics on it and said it was the fuel pump which I had them replace.
Fast forward to Monday, I called to see if the truck would be ready today and they told me he hoped to have it done by noon. I got a call at noon saying the truck was still not running after the fuel pump was replaced. Another "update call" from them this afternoon stated they still did not know what was wrong with the truck. The shop owner described it as "frustrating".
A couple details:
150,000 miles
Regular service
Had a broken serpentine belt replaced a month ago
New battery 2-3 months ago
I'd welcome any advice about a possible diagnosis. This is the third time in 3-4 months the truck has left me stranded. I'm starting to lose faith in the reputed reliability.
