2010 4Runner Drawer Project

I'm pretty handy with building things, but not having priced out parts and materials I wondered if buying a drawer system might be a better way to go. I have the sliding tray which I love and saw a great looking design from a guy on this site.

Simple Drawer Mod for 5th Gen 4Runner - Expedition Portal

Maybe it's that simple and the cost is minimal just haven't priced it out. If anyone has a project they have done or suggestions of pre-fab systems please feel free to suggest.

I like to have all my hunting gear with me b/c I never know if I'm going to go after work or even be near home to grab my stuff and right now I just use Rubbermaids in the back which takes up all the space the back is full with 5 of them! If I could do a drawer and store most of that is not all of it in there then I get rid of Rubbermaids and have another empty top surface for work stuff which is flying about my back seat/floorboard currently making the back seats useless for passengers.

Thanks all

There are a lot of examples around here and all cost less than the premade ones. Materials and size seem to dictate cost, since your own labor is free, in theory.

Top three links when I searched "5th gen rear drawers", if you then compare the two or three pre fabbed ones, they cost at least 2-3 times as much...
