I almost bid since it was at $0.98, but then I saw $15.00 shipping and decided it wasn't worth it. Heck, I may do it just to see if I actually get something that cool looking.

Edit: I just saw this thing is claiming to have a Miyota movement! If that's the case, it's worth the risk for ~$16.00...

Double Edit: I'm currently the high bidder at $1.03

Pretty cool idea this watch, but I like ABC watches. If I was after regular watch I would probably place a bid too : )

Don't tell me I have a fellow watch guy here too! I have several Citizens and Casios. I only go for solar!

I'm getting into watches, I guess. Funny enough, my sister works in the timepiece division of Casio, so I've lost more Casio and Oceanus (their luxury brand) watches than I can count. If you've got your eye on one I might be able to get you a good deal. I own one Citizen, and I don't like them much. But, I just bought a Maratac Pilot's Watch with the Miyota 8245 movement and I love it!

I am a watch guy, but that is not how I found this. I was looking for an OEM steering wheel LOL.

My daily wear watches are all Citizen EcoDrives Calibre 8700s (four of them in different colors and styles). My dressy watches are two Movado Valor tungstens in polished and black dials, a Breitling Colt automatic, Balmer Constellation, a special edition Hamilton X Wind automatic, and a Casio Pathfinder for camping. I have a couple others in my case, but not that I can recall off the top of my head.

I am extremely hard on such things as watches, rings and bicycles lol. That is how I got into Casios and Citizens for watches. I am currently wearing a Casio Mudman as it cannot be broken as I see it. On the wedding ring side my bride of 28 years finally bought me a Titanium band after squashing one gold one and gouging the replacement to the point of unwearable. I have had the Ti one for 4 years now and it still looks good. The Citizens I have are used with my Sunday go to meeting cargo shorts! This is also why I bought a 4Runner too. Function over form for me.

Same here. I have a couple Citizen Caliber 2100s, a Citizen Skyhawk, and a Casio Pathfinder. I get the most use out of the Pathfinder.

I'm pretty disappointed in the Skyhawk though. For some reason, it bit the dust. It was in a cabinet for a year and now it won't take a charge (even after leaving it in the sun for 2 days).

I work in sales so my "work" watches are not beat on much. I prefer wearing my Citizen EcoDrives over everything else I have because I do not cringe at hitting them on something, and the extra info on them is nice (alarms, etc vs just time).
 
My daily time piece are as follows:

Casio Tough Solar Pathfinder.
HTC Thunderbolt.
Toyota 4Runner.

Yes... I use the clock in my truck.. a lot.. got my morning commute timed to it :lmao:

I do hope to be adding a Suunto Everest limited edition to the collection.

Have an Seiko Kinetic and a Seiko dress watch (can remember the model) collecting dust in a drawer..

You've got the addiction way worse than me. I daily wear a Citizen Perpetual Chrono AT and have a Tag for formal. Then a Suunto for hiking and fishing and a couple G-Shocks.

Nothing like watches that cost as much as your ride :biggrin2:

Anything over about $5k is too much for me to justify with the wife. One of my buddies has a fully dressed Chronomat Evolution that MSRP's for over $100k, that is craziness to me. I would rather have a winder full of nice watches than one that costs as much as a small house LOL
