2010 Limited buying experience~!

just picked up a black limited with every option except for remote start. got it for 39,800, no fees, just before tax.same car at a dealer in Chicago was 41,500 lowest price..and they offered me 9 grand in trade for my 06 sport!! what a joke! well worth the drive to Green bay!.. thing is sweet! sold my 06 v8 sport to a friend on the spot. Rides nice!!! much roomier than my 06..I am going to miss it but in order for me to get auto allowance from work i have to get a new one every three years,,,ughhhh...... I think i got a great deal! thoughts??

Oh man, you got screwed!!!! I would never have publicly admitted that POS deal! And that truck is probably one from the shipment that got "wet" from the typhoon. I hope you can sleep tonight.

LOL, just jokin'. Sounds like you made out great and I hope you have many enjoyable miles/years ahead of you! You know you are suppose to post pics.
 
can you confirm if that came with 4x4 and whether you got navi or not?

also... were you able to get the slide out tray or was that with the 3rd row seat. for some reason in california, the first batch of 5th gen limiteds all have the 3rd roaw seat (which I have no use for).

2010 Limited

Hello just to let you know I am from Maryland and I am in the process of buying a White Limited Edition with Navigation and 4 wheel drive.The price of the car was 42,444. The dealer came down to 40,000. I also have a 2006 sport edition with with 70k miles on it. They offered me 16K for it then I said I wanted 17 or I was going to take it to carmax and sell it outright so they bumped up my trade in value to 17K. I think I am getting a pretty good deal.
 
mine has the slide out tray and factory navi..i ended up selling mune to a friend for 16,700.00 .. it was a v8 with 83000 miles on it and a rear quarter pannel that needed to be replaced. so far i am LOVING the 5th gen!
 
Well I just picked up my 2010 Limited today. The first quote I posted was from Koons. However they couldn't find me a white limited with a tan interior so I did some researching of my own. I found the truck up a Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Chambursburg, PA They sold me the car for 39,459 plus tax tags etc. And they also gave me the $17,000 for my 2006 sport edition. I will try and get some pics up but it looks like tomorrow we will have about 20 inches of snow on the ground.
 
40,100 out the door for a Blizzard Pearl/Black leather with NAV here in Mississippi. Arrived at port today waiting for delivery.
 
Wow, $40K+ T4R's! For $15K more, you can get the '10 Lexus 460 V8 with luxury and style. But everyone has their own decisions and likes and so...

Is a $40K 4Runner really all that shocking?; the MSRP on the 2009 Limited V8 4WD was $39K, before adding any options.

True and another $10k on top of the GX460 you can get a Toyota Land Cruiser and another $10k on top of that, it's a LX570.
 
sticker was 42xxx and I also got mine for 39,800 but I ended up buying the 6yr/100k warranty for 1200 which brings the grand total to 41,000. Now I kind of feel like I could have done better on the deal. No regrets though, awesome truck and I love it. Just about to pass 400 miles now
