I picked up my 2010 Trail about 2 weeks ago and have been really enjoying it.
This forum has been great, Range thanks again for sending me over to Autoanything for Weathertech floor mats and a Canvasback cargo area protector... an interesting customer service experience with them... probably a story for another thread.
I was thinking of adding running boards and hopefully someone has perspective on OEM Toyota vs. an aftermarket product. Seems to me OEM parts are usually a good bet but I don't like chrome, I don't want to run this vehicle into the ground and OEM parts usually go over better when doing a trade-in too.
Definitely need something to assist family in getting in/out, especially when the ice comes in a few months but I would also like something to protect from trees and shopping carts.
I have a 60's built house and trucks were a lot smaller then so I can't go more than a couple inches past the mirrors and still get the 4R into the garage, so that's a consideration too.
Any recommendations appreciated.
*By the way, I now have an extra rear (black) Weathertech... which subforum would be best to post it in for a swap for something? I could probably Ebay it but figured maybe someone here could use it.
