A question I have is, given these HP/TQ gains, would this be more beneficial than doing a regear to 4.56? With the weight of all my steel and 34" tires, I would like to eventually get a bit more pep back. Obviously doing both would be the ideal case, but if you had to choose one, which would you go with?
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'd be interested to hear the arguments for regear vs. supercharger if you could only pick one. Cost wise the supercharger would be a couple grand more since I would go the ECGS route and throw in a front ARB at the same time, but which would be better to gain power back?

Overall, your question is a tough call. Two very different things. The gears have many advantages including more control at low speeds (better crawl ratio...).
Gears increase TQ at the wheels but reduce wheel speed (this all depends on your tire size). This allows the motor to rev easier in each gear and maintain speed up grades...
For argument sake... I think we can think of this supercharger producing 100+ tq at the crank. We pretty much know this is the case at 4k RPMs, but it's unclear at this point how early in the RPM range the TQ hits. It should be pretty low, but hard to say without driving it. Most of these types of rotor packs come on strong around 2.5K-3.5k, but the motor keeps its natural VE curve either way.
The Supercharger would increase TQ at the crank and drive shafts... This also allows for faster revving and more TQ at the wheels. The end result is similar, but also very different.
So I'll throw some math at you to attempt to explain. Assuming constant tire size and 0 drive-train friction loss.
If you were in 4th gear and max engine output stock (estimate 270TQ). You would be putting out something like 1007 at the output shafts. Change to 4.56 gears and that goes to 1231.2 (keep in mind there is also a proportional speed decrease). So roughly a 22% increase in TQ.
If the blower adds 100TQ, that puts it at 1007 for the output shafts with stock gearing vs 1380 via blower with no decrease in speed. Roughly a 37% increase. Layer 456 on top and you get 1678.2. Which is almost 70% increase from stock. So you can see where this leads... and why big tires can be spun pretty easy without a huge increase in power.
Anyway, totally your call. I will have both ;-)
The gears won't really allow you to accelerate any faster, just hold gears and tow heavier loads better, shift easier and stay in the power band a bit more.
