2010 vs 2015 Reardoor/Backseat configuration

Hello All,

I owned a 2010 SR5 4x4. I had to sell it when we had our son due to my wife being 5'3" could not comfortably put the car seat in the middle of the back seat. Even at 6' I had to turn the carrier sideways to get it past the door, then climb in to latch it.

Anyway, my son is 3 now and I am looking at 2015 SR5 4x4's with the third row seat option. I climbed in and out of the third row at the dealer and was looking heavily at the entrance of the rear passanger doors. It maybe just my eye, but it seems the opening is wider and/or the seat/wheelwells are lower.

Am I making things up or has the rearseat/backdoor configuration changed at all?

Hi Funrunr,

The 2010 and 2015 are exactly the same wrt the body, doors, and seat placement... "unsure about the second row track slides in trucks with and w/o the third row".

PS: I here that the dealerships have 'special lighting' to make the vehicles look much larger! :smokin: Rgds
