2011 headlight swap

Anyone know how hard it is to swap the headlights? I've got some projector lights on the way, and would like a heads up on how to change them. Any advice? I searched the forums and found a thread that references a different thread that has a collection of unlabeled zip files that I can't open on my phone.

The quick and dirty remove - the fasteners holding the bumper cover on then pull to gain access to the bolts holding the light in.

Your just swapping the housing? Also search for aftermarket bumper installation videos on boobtube, most have to be removed or cut in some way, so it should show you how

Are you talking about swapping projector (2014+) headlights into a 2010-2013 4R. Just the headlights ... nothing else?

I didn't think you could do this without basically doing the whole front end. Am I wrong?

No, I have these headlights and am trying to figure out what I am having to deal with here.

You basically need to remove the grille, a couple trim pieces on top of the fenders just inside the hood, the cap screws in the wheel well that secure the bumper skin, and then remove the bumper skin from the clips that attach it around the headlights. It's pretty easy, but some of the plastic components are brittle and break easily.
Lots of retrofit tutorials here and on google. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours.
