How do you get the screen on the radio to stay on the audio screen?
Every time I get my sat radio screen up with the song title selection on the screen it is there for a few seconds then it goes black. You have to push the audio button to get it to come back. Same thing with radio station screen.
HELP!

Thanks,
Mike

I think I understand what you are asking and that is a Toyota thing. When you are driving it will not display the radio station info. When the truck is stopped it will. The same goes for the hands free...you can nto make calls from the touch screen while moving.

That is not normal if I understand what you are saying correctly. When I have sat radio playing I can touch the screen to make the artist and song come up and it's stays up for me. Even on Bluetooth it stays on audio screen and never goes dark. I think I remeber there being a setting where it would auto move to the map screen but I don't remember it going dark. I can play with it later but otherwise (not trying to be smart) did you check the nav book under the night mode settings maybe? I know you can make the screen dark but don't know if there is a setting that will do it automatically.

Oh right!!! I forgot about that setting. There is a setting in there to have the screen go dark after a certain amount of time. You are right there.

Thanks forgot about that.

Did you figure this out? I played with mine and when I turned off the screen from the display button and hit the audio button the screen came back up and didn't go dark again. I didn't dig into the settings though, I would guess there is something there as referenced in the other post.

(to the OP) i just played with my radio on my 11' LE to try and see how that setting even got there in the first place for you. I couldn't figure it out. I'm thinking your issue might be isolated? Not sure though?
My 4r's "audio screen" stays awake at all times, the only interruptions would be when I put it in reverse for the camera. It came that way and I never messed with it. Sounds like you might have to take it to the stealers, i mean dealers and have them look at it? Sorry i'm of little help
