2011 touchscreen stopped working

Been digging around on this forum and Google, but I'm mostly finding other Toyotas with this issue, not 4runners. My 2011 JBL nav headunit touchscreen has stopped working. The headunit otherwise works fine. The physical buttons work, the screen works, but not the *touch* part. There are a couple of small places on the screen where you can still touch, but the vast majority of the touchscreen is no longer responsive.

Do any of you know if there might be a way to reset the thing, or otherwise do some sort of diagnostic on it? Is this a known issue? I want to make sure I cover all the bases before I just replace it with an aftermarket headunit.

Disconnecting the battery for about 30 minutes usually wipes out all my radio station presets. There is also a diagnostic mode, but I don't remember how to get it loaded and running. All the touch screen I deal with also have a calibration mode I, sure the 4runner does to........
