2011 Trail stock suspension value

Hello,

I have an OME setup being installed tomorrow and am wondering what you all thought the value of the stock equipment is. 75k miles. Basically, wondering if I am better off scrapping it than taking it with me and trying to sell it off.

I know what stock Harley parts are worth... $0.

In Cincinnati if anyone is interested!

Thanks!
Mike

With 75K? I would think with cost of shipping you would lose money.

Donate them to something, school auto shop?

If you needed to send your CO'c or rear shocks in for rebuild, using them for temp suspension, if you needed to drive, is the only thing I would think that they would be good for.

This is why I keep mine around. Free backups for maintenance if something goes wrong with the aftermarket ones.

Second this, I am hitting myself for tossing mine. I was keeping for this exact reason but space in a 1 bedroom+den apartment from a 2500sqft home meant things needed to go.

I would say keep it if you have the space, even toss in the attic, forget and the next owner can have a suprise.

Yeah, I tend to pack rat already and we use out basement as a shop and gym so I let them go to scrap.

Came out great though!

Just curious, who did the installation here in Cincy? Looks like you need some 285/70/17 now. If you want a cheap temporary setup let me know, my new wheels/tires arrived today.

I actually had it done at Bob Sumerel on Red Bank Rd. I work really close. I didn't know they would install parts they didn't furnish but the manager over there is pretty cool.

You have a set of 285s available?

Those AT3s are only a year old. Hate em but can't bring myself to not use them up.
