2012 sliding cargo tray to 2014 truck

From what I gather. This is what you're missing:

These are the parts for the anchors mentioned. They're #11 on the third diagram of the sliding cargo trim pieces.

The brackets for which the anchors mount are in the first floor diagram and should be #19 or 20, but I'm not for certain. They're cheap so buying 19 and 20 won't break the bank.

Also in the third diagram, you may need that storage (#7) as well if you didn't get from the other owner.

No luck getting them from the person you traded with? Because they wouldn't be able to use any part of the front storage are as it'd look weird and gaps. Best bet is to contact them and do the complete trade. he needs your brackets and anchors as they're different.

Thanks, I was looking at that, but thought it wasn't the right part. but since you confirmed it MIGHT be right, ill give it a try. I did try to see if the person I traded with had it, but he said he wasn't able to find it. not a big deal. im going to order these parts and give it a try. thanks again.

actually those aren't the parts. I have the trim piece and the cover plates. I need to replace the two brackets circled in red

Thanks to all who posted about the install of the tray. Very easy install. Took 30 minutes or so total.

So are you saying there should be a mounting hole where the red circle is in the attached pic? If so can it be drilled perhaps? Also where do the blue circled bolts go? Are they just holding the frame together or attachment points of the rack rail to the pan?

I just did this swap over the weekend. Rather than drilling the new holes, I suggest using a punch to knock a small hole first so you don't bugger the threads underneath. After that, us a reaming bit to grind away the sheet metal until you have a hole large enough for the bolt. Your blue circled bolts are simply to connect the horizontal bracket to the tracks. No need to take them out.
