Looking at a used 2012 SR5 4x4. It is magnetic gray with 18,900 miles on it. Being offered as certified used for 31,000. It has a sunroof and power seats. Appears to have the standard radio. Seems like a good deal to me but you guys are the experts. Any issues with 2012s I should know about?

you can get a new 2014 SR5 fur just a touch more. I paid that 2 years ago for my 2011 and mine is premium/leather w/ 3rd row

I am assuming that is 31,000 without tax. I just picked up a '14 Trail fully loaded (not premium) for $35,000 + tax. Seems like a bit much since it may not have entune and some of the '14 features.

I called 6 dealerships in the Denver area and had them bid on each other. Winner got my business. I didn't step foot in a dealership until I had their best offer.

I paid about 33K for 2013 SR5 with premium paint, power seats, floor mats, splash guards and exhaust tip. This was 6/1/2013 but 31K for 19,000 miles and now 2 years old seems high. It would be a buy at about 27 or so but not 31K. I know I didn't get the best price I could have on my 4Runner because I got a great trade but according to TruCar at the time I was right at "invoice" either get the price down or get a left-over or demo 2013.

I picked up mine new with 68 miles on it for $33,500 IIRC. I'd gladly sell it for $31k lol (almost 40k on it now). I would definitely negotiate that down if you can and check truecar to get a bottom line price and start working down to that.

I got my 2010 SR5 PREMIUM PKG for 27k with 46k miles last summer. I don't know how that's gonna help ya or not.

I bought my 2012 SR5 used at 6 months old, 8000 miles with upgraded tires for 31k. Dealers always start high. talk em down.

As a 2012 sr5 4x4 owner...this makes me happy!

With known 4runner reliability and extended oil change intervals, IMO it is as good as new. May have been farted in but other than that it is new :target:

Here in the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia, dealerships are sitting on their 2013 inventory and won't go more than $2,400 off the price in the window. I had two dealerships bidding on 12/31 for identical cars on their lots and neither seemed interested in working a deal to move the truck. When you figured in tax, title, and other fees you are back to the price listed in the window. Has me bummed. I looked at a Certified 2011 SR5 in Blizzard Pearl with 29K Miles this past weekend and they are looking for $30,888. I think your deal is better than the one I was looking at for the used 2011.

Good Luck!
