No feeling of guilt cause when I put the new Runner in an inter web search there were plenty of pix so here ya go......... sorry if I'm pizzin in the KoolAid. The production folks were real nice and we talked more dirtbike and trails then Toyotas. They were film guys not Toyota reps and followed me around as I pretended not to take pix. Fairplay boys.
I was on a 2 week long dirt bike trip out in Colorado last week and ran across at 4Runner commercial shoot.
Understandable location right? - Bridalvail Falls at the end of Black Bear Pass above Tulluride. The fella on the left is the "talent" and part of a group leaving the runner and going on a hike.
If ya know about trails you know Black Bear is no joke, and after the tuff section I was shocked to run across a full on film crew out early in the morning.
The trail is popular with the Jeepers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFq9muCDkXo - down hill only with a few code brown moments called the steps, slow going but not if you're on a KTM ha. I took Imagene back to Ouray.
The views are stunning at some 12000 feet looking down at Telluride.
The last 1/4 of the trail is 2 way and leads up to the falls - looked popular for hikers to drive up and park at the falls to hike around. Sharp spot for a shoot.
I was told that they would do some trails shots later in the week but wanted to take advantage of the new clean rig "before they beat it up some".
This white rig was parked down below where they had all the support trucks and crew/wardrobe/film production stuff. Not sure if it's a 14? It was the only other one there.
Don't know 5th gen that well - you guys can sort it out better.
