I have a question about the gas light on the 14's I'm ran mine down to 28 miles remaining. And my light never came on. I thought it was suppose to come on around 35?

My gas light usually comes on at 25mi remaining. The most I've driven past 0mi remaining is around 40 miles since there are a few gallons left in the tank when that gauge reads 0mi in my T4R.

You could probably add the lower front cover from the 2014 4runner trail to cover the holes.
I thought about that! Do we know if it would just attach right to an SR5 body?

my inventory breakout for those looking for 2014's or when 2013 inventory drops enough to start looking for deals:
i have redone the breakout by model and color each week instead of an overall look. hope this helps those looking for specific model and colors.
(please note that the numbers dont add up due to NOT posting unknown colors/models and numbers are approximate)

Summary :
big demand color has been grey this cycle. big drops across the models.
2013 :
Inventory dropped ~205 units since last update. inventory of 2013 should be now be easier to deal especially in january when dealers do a last minute push to get them off the lot due to taxes on 15-20 Jan (not all states have a dealer inventory tax)
again until the next update.

love: Phx), I gave him his first bath yesterday. The steps help, but I've never owned a vehicle where I had stand on the rear tire to wash the roof!
Unlike a few others here, I went with vinyl for blacking out the bumper accents. I think it'll be far more durable in the long run. However - I used a shop that does a lot of commercial work, so it wasn't nearly as inexpensive as a can of Plastidip.
I'm loving my wheels, but they are kind of a PIA to clean. ...the price of style I suppose...
As great as it looks when clean, I'm looking forward to taking it out for some camping. With baby on the way, just don't know when it will happen.
In my first 1000 miles, I'm really enjoying it.

Thanks! The Bilsteins are set at one step up from yours - 1.75". I didn't want to lift the rear, I just wanted to level it out.
I had thought about blacking out the roof rails too, but that may not happen anytime soon. Only 4wks until our son's due date, so I wanted to get my mods in as quickly as possible. It may be that an infant car seat is the only other mod I get for quite some time...

That's not an aftermarket bull guard. If you look at the 2014 Trail Editions (check Toyota website), you'll see Toyota installed these silver painted "skid plate" accent pieces - although they are plastic and really only cosmetic. Several Trail owners on this site have blacked out these pieces as I have done.
You could buy these from Toyota and install on your SR5, but that would require cutting a lot of holes in the bumper. I'm pretty sure the cost and effort would not be worth it.

Just signed on as we're looking for a new vehicle to replace wifey's 2004 Subaru Impreza. Our first is on its way and we're looking for a bigger car and the 4Runner is one we're looking at.
Will the second row accomodate 3 child seats?
Also, I'm 6'4" tall, if I get comfy in the passenger seat, is there much room behind to accomodate a rear facing child seat?
And lastly, I'm wondering how comparable the Toyota full time AWD in the Limited compares to that of the Subaru, anyone with experience here to comment? Chances are we'll fit studded winter tyres on for the winter.

I think the second row has the connections for three child seats, but you would have to research and get some narrow child seats. I've got two in mine right now (Peg Prego) and there really isn't much room for a third in the middle, but both of our seats are large. I will check tonight to make sure that the middle spot has the proper connections.
There is plenty room for the rear facing seat, you might not get to totally lounge out but you will still be comfortable.
I used to have a 2007 Subaru Legacy Spec B before I bought my S4 so I've had a lot of seat time in a Subaru. The Subaru AWD is legendary, and I think it's at least on par with the Quattro system in my Audi.
I don't have any technical details about the differences between Subaru and Toyota, but so far I haven't had any traction issues at all. I haven't had to put it in 4HI or 4Lo yet, plus I Live in Calgary so you know we've had some pretty snowy/icy conditions. My LE came with pretty average looking all season tires which I planned to switch right away, but after driving it this winter I felt no reason to switch yet (And i'm usually a winter tire only guy).

Looking good! I too was thinking about vinyl vs. plasti for the front, but your TE has an advantage over my SR5. If I were to do the same since I don't have the grey "bull guard" :heh:, the paint would go all the way to the grille whereas you still have a nice thin horiztonal white strip. I'm trying to decide if without the strip, a white SR5 would look like a droopy-faced hound!
