10" inches more in overall length, 8 inches more in wheelbase, 3 inches more in width, and 900 more in curb weight all add up to a significantly larger vehicle.

Weather Tech Floor Mats

Does anyone know if the weather tech for the 2013 will fit on the 2014?

The WT digifits work perfectly in the '14. No change made. I have them in my new '14 including the 3rd row cargo cover. All fit perfectly.

I used to be horrified of the new 4runner look LOLs, well, after several visits to various dealers, I finally got used to the front look of the SR5 and Trail. It took several dealer visits before I became a convert , it also looks much better upclose than in the photos. I suppose its not a photogenic vehicle depending on the angle of the photoshoot

Front is much more subdued in person. I saw my first in person on the road over the weekend and it took me a moment to realize it was even a '14.

Remote Start

I don't think it was ever answered, but does anyone know if the Trail Premium comes standard with remote start? I've seen it as an option on a few base trails, but never on a premium, so I was wondering if it came standard.

It was an option on the Limited, so I doubt it comes standard on the Trail Premium.

How big of a lift and what size tires are on that '14?

I just got my silver SR5, , it has 17" rim with 265/17 bridgestone tires. the tires looks proportional to the body. Note though that my point of comparison was 'low' because my previous vehicle was from the distant past - was a stock 1998 tacoma - so to my eyes my new 4runner is lifted "high enough"
I gotta tell you, people are staring at it everywhere I go so I had to resort to wearing my Ray-ban glasses to look the part :jk:
I'll post a pic once I got an "accessory" installed to give everyone a laugh(or roll-eyes)
I went with the least options so its less repairs/maintenance/replacements to worry about as I plan to keep it about 10 years or maybe even more. I got the 'navigation package' thrown in.

I think they moved those functions to the instrument panel display; same with the Limited.

correct. in center of instrument panel. DISP button on wheel flips through the info.

update on my inbound status.

ordered : 25-sep-13
port : 13-nov-11
est dealer delivery date : 27-nov-13 or 2-dec-13

now I told the dealer that if it arrives before 02-dec-13, to hold it so I don't have to pay for a whole month of license plate fees for only 3 days. my legacy I bought on 29-nov and I still had to pay for the other29 days of the month. learned my lesson on that.

he said no problem. so I will be a new daddy in December since I will get out of this legacy one way or another into this 4runner. I am done with this car.

and btw there is nothing wrong with the car, just need a more reliable vehicle to get to work when the snow get deeper than the car can handle.
