LOL seriously! And most manual covers are dealer provided - not Toyota provided. Do you really want to pay Toyota a huge markup on a cover for something that sits in the glove box 99.999% of the time? The only upside I can see to having a nice leather cover for the manual is that it might encourage people to actually read the damn thing.
Jealous doesn't even begin to describe this...

Finally Picked it up!!
I took this pic right after I picked up my new Trail 4runner. I love the look of it lifted, tires are ordered I'll post more pics once I get them on, I'm thinking on 265 wrangler duratracs so I don't have to do any trimming. I might be converting Fog and Low Beams to 6,000K HIDs tonight if I have time and find underground parking to do it.

Ok, I officially like the look of the '14 SR5 and Trails now...I am still on the fence with the Limited. A lift and tires really make our 4runners look amazing!
What kind of lift is that?

Yeah, now that I own one, I love it. I look at the 2013 and below and don't really like the lower trim compared to the trail 14

RWD : nothing big, normal increase across the board. Blue finally above the 30's.
4x4 : all models/colrs jumped quite a bit across the board.
2013 deals : almost a 300 unit drop since last check. seems like a slow down on sales of 2013, which will affect december/january sale bargins.

Well, judging by the numbers above it's going to be very difficult to go look at a white TE premium. Bummer!

Picked up my 14' Trail Premium a week ago and I'm loving it! It's had my name on it since it was at the Toyota factory in Japan, so the anticipation of waiting for it to finally arrive was torture.
I had an 07' FJ for the last 6 years, so I actually plan on wheeling my new Runner. OME 3" lift is on the way, and 285/70/17 Duratracs are waiting for me at the tire shop already. I think I'll have to have rock rails custom made since I haven't seen anything available on the interwebs yet......not sure if the body lines on the side of the truck are close enough to the 13' to match up correctly??? Same goes for skids. The front is a lot different, so I'll probably have to wait for someone to start manufacturing them...ugg.
Glad to have found this group and hope to meet some AZ Runner peeps if they're out there.

now thats funny, the new 2014 highlander has a 5000 lbs tow rating on the V6 that generates 270-horsepower at 6,200 RPM and 248 lbs.-feet of torque at 4,700 RPM compared to our 4runner with 4700 lbs rating with more torque.
forgot to add, V6 AWD can weigh up 4,508 lbs.
i dont think i can downgrade myself just yet to a highlander. the warden still said she would disown me if i ever bought a sienna, but man have they come a long way from the old days compared to now.

What makes it a TE Premium vs a TE?
I'm wondering if mine is the Premium. My dealership and salesmen didn't know ANYTHING about the 4Runner. They only had a few 2014's in stock. The LE was out because of the price and the fact that it's 4x4 OR 2x4. Not both. The SR5 was out of the question because it didn't have any of the creature comforts my wife wanted. So here's the specs on mine... is it a premium or standard TE?
Magnetic Grey with Black synthetic leather interior, red stitching, heated front seats. It has the CRAWL control, KDSS suspension, moon roof, roof rails and cross bars, Navigation system with sirius, pull out cargo deck, 40/60 split rear folding seats.
It was like 1 or 5 in the area. I think I got it for a steal, especially trading in my Evo, which, a part of me is still dead inside for.
