2014 4Runner

What makes it a TE Premium vs a TE?

I'm wondering if mine is the Premium. My dealership and salesmen didn't know ANYTHING about the 4Runner. They only had a few 2014's in stock. The LE was out because of the price and the fact that it's 4x4 OR 2x4. Not both. The SR5 was out of the question because it didn't have any of the creature comforts my wife wanted. So here's the specs on mine... is it a premium or standard TE?

Magnetic Grey with Black synthetic leather interior, red stitching, heated front seats. It has the CRAWL control, KDSS suspension, moon roof, roof rails and cross bars, Navigation system with sirius, pull out cargo deck, 40/60 split rear folding seats.

It was like 1 or 5 in the area. I think I got it for a steal, especially trading in my Evo, which, a part of me is still dead inside for.

Yes that's a premium. The softex seating is the giveaway

sweet... that made my night. Now if only I had a bag of money.

Anyone have any pics of bull bars or grill guards on their 14's yet? I'm curious to see what they'll look like but i think thats one of the first accessories i want since they'll protect my investment more than any other accessory will at the moment.

the only thing i see decent is the 17 rims, but knowing toyota, they are $2000, which i wouldnt pay. at that price they better make my 4runner drive across water like a water bug.

my weekly inventory breakout for those looking for 2014's or when 2013 inventory drops enough to start looking for deals:

i have redone the breakout by model and color each week instead of an overall look. hope this helps those looking for specific model and colors.

(please note that the numbers dont add up due to NOT posting unknown colors/models and numbers are approximate)

I just got a silver trail premium this past week.

Has anyone painted the stock 14 trail wheels in black or anthracite. I saw there was a photoshop of some on a red one early in this thread but hard to get a good feel.

2014 Locking Gas Cap

Hi Guys (and Gals)

Just joined the club here and picked up my 2014 SR5 Premium (upgrade version in Canada) this morning. Great truck and much more quiet than I thought it would be. Anyways, like some of you I was surprised that a rather pricey vehicle would not come with a locking fuel cap or door. Now I'm not that alarmed since my Wife's Nissan Rogue did not come with one either. I found a Stant locking cap for her SUV and its working great after one year. I've searched the forum and only found info pertaining to 2013's. I'm curious whether any new owners of 2014's have found a locking cap that works and does not cause a check engine light. Weird that a Rav 4 would have a locking door and not the more expensive 4 runner.

I will also post pics and a thorough review once I have driven a few days with it.

I just recently picked up a 2014 4 Runner Trial Edition Prem. in Super White. Absolutely love it. Cant wait to do a few mods to her...

Congrats. I'm on the verge of swapping out my 11' Limited for the same car. If you don't mind, can you tell me what your sale price was before taxes?

So stoked!!! Picking up my lift today for my new 14' Trail! Can't wait to get this thing jacked up and some decent tires on it. 700 miles on the odometer with no lift is too much. lol

OME 3" Medium w/ the Sport Nitro shocks all around.
Goodyear Duratracs - 285/70/17

Gotta source some rails and armor so I can really wheel this bi#*h!!! :girl:

I've liked the new front end from the start and was looking for a new one to replace my 05.

Went Xmas shopping yesterday and stopped by the local Yota dealership. They had exactly what I had been shopping for and made a decent deal so..Merry Xmas to me.

Really wanting to try the plastidip on the middle body piece in the grill.

Has anyone verified if the '13 WT mats work or what date the new ones will be out?

3" lift, 285s, sliders, rack, bumper? in the works.

I got it for $42k OTD. Was really hard to negoitate on the price since they only had one Trail Ed. in Super White.

Finally Arrived!

Finally arrived - fresh off the truck from a Kansas dealership. Wanted the Barcelona Red, so had to wait until they could get it delivered to my local dealership. First 4Runner for me - I'm excited!

Went to see Christmas lights tonight and had to park in a very muddy field - 4WD works great

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone on this awesome and informative forum!

Here is my new SR5 premium. I picked it up last week. Not the greatest photo but you guys get it.
As far as the front end goes, I was unsure, but in person it just looks awesome.
Thanks for all of the great info in this forum. I'm really happy with my new car.
I opted out of the 3rd row and added running boards to help my son load up easier.
I added Nokian haakapalita 7 studded snows right away and a Thule cargo box for skis.
The car handles really well on the snow and ice and is an absolute pleasure to drive. I came from a 2004 Honda Element AWD.

Not sure about the shipping but check this out might have what you are looking for. from what i have been told almost everything from the early 5th gens should fit the 14s except the bumpers.

Good luck on your search.

I debated posting a new thread about this but a coworker of mine from the ship was able to rent a 2014 4Runner SR5 from Dollar Rent-A-Car in Portland, OR if people are looking for a place to take it for a few days before deciding to purchase. He said he picked it up with 4 miles on it for him and his wife for the weekend.

Just wanted to pass along.

I picked up my 2014 4Runner SR5 Thanksgiving week. Recently discovered this forum. I have a lot of reading/learning to do.

I'm enjoying the build threads. I'll mostly be driving on the sand/beach so I won't be making the hard-core mods I'm seeing, but some small mods will be coming.
