2014 4Runner

2014 Sr5 4runner!

New to the forum and wanted to post a pic of my new 4runner. I've been lurking for a while and have picked up a lot of good information from other forum members that helped me in my hunt for this rig!

Sr5
3rd row (I really wanted a TE, but marriage is all about compromises...)
Premium Entune w/Nav and app suite
Running boards

Took my new truck for drive on AZ Apache trail road ... road was pretty bumpy but I drove less than 15 MPH. There was lots of rattling from the suspension or whatever . Hopefully I did not shake anything loose :wow:
Very impressed with its handling after testing out 4hi and 4lo for the first time.

Hi I also live in NOVA, may I ask how much did you pay for SR5 with 3rd row seat minus tax, title? is it premium or just base?

Thx

$34,046 w/o taxes, tags, or processing fees (this price does include the $860 for freight) $36,064 OTD.

I bought mine at McGeorge in Richmond, they were less than Koons in NOVA.

I have the fabric seats. I could not find one with the 3rd row and the premium package anywhere in VA.

Koons adds $850 for freight and $499 process fee on top of their "WOW" price, which is total B.S IMHO. I am looking at other dealers as well.

Thx for info .

color question

Crap garage pic, had to throw a filter on it to show the wheels a little.

Hey guys, i have a rather silly question. Are the TE colors such as WHITE and black come in metallic? MY 01 taco was metallic and ireally like the metallic. IF they are not metallic, what other colors are? IS it just me or the metallic colors look shinier?

Just picked this up

Out of my 2007 FJ Cruiser......and back into a 2014 4Runner. Love both, but this is NICE! Look forward to hanging in this Forum, as much as I did the FJ Cruisers forum..........Glad to be back in a 4Runner.

2014 4Runner Purchase

SPD 1294 - I am sure you got 4WD for that price. Toyota also has $500.00 listed on the sticker, discount, for the 2014 4Runner purchase.
Plug in Tru-Car, should get you another $2415.00+ in additional savings. We can't get away from the transportation fee, but we can deal with the admin fee, getting added options thrown in. Every region is different.

GRATS! Definitely a nice truck! Enjoy it! Love mine! ;)

Price I think is pretty good!

I think my previous opinion stands. If you like the options that it comes with, it's worth getting. If you plan on changing anything single thing about it, then probably not. It's best bought by someone that just wants to drive from the lot to the trail and is not a modder.

Price is pretty good though, kind of surprised.

I'm also surprised. I think the pricing is pretty good if the dealers will stick to it. I was told by my dealer that they expected the TRD pro 4Runner to be around $45k. To me, that is just a little too much but, somehow, $41k seems acceptable. Of course, I doubt there will be no discounting the TRD pro like you can find on a trail edition.

I would really like to ride/drive a TRD pro just to see if the suspension is worth the money.

So $41,100 and no KDSS? or $43k w/KDSS?

Glad i went ahead and bought a 2014 TE w/KDSS last weekend
Since you can easily get $3-$4k under MSRP on 2014 Trail, that puts me $5400-$7200 less then the PRO, possibly more if there is a dealer mark up.

I will say the PRO looks great in that red color and the wheels are nice also. I stood on the fence for months waiting on the PRO but seeing a Barcelona Red Trail in person made me pull the trigger.

Possibly in the "Post your lifted pics" thread stickied just below this one? Start at the latest and work your way backwards. There should be a few in there.

Why don't you just have an aftermarket push button start put in?
