So after seeing HIDs in the halogen projectors in person and the amount of glare I knew that wasn't going to be an option. The pictures from this thread make the glare pretty obvious

After some research and taking some measurements I decided that most rear mounted projectors were not going to work without hacking up the headlight assembly because of the lack of space behind the projector. That left a handful of sidemount projector options, mainly the GS350/450 and IS250/350. The GS version is pretty compact, and is single xenon compared to the IS250/350, and many come with clear lenses and a great cutoff from the start. The IS has a fresnel lense that makes for a blurry cutoff but is can be modded with STI-R lenses. The GS only has a 2.5" lense compared to the stock and IS which is 3". The GS also uses D4s bulbs but its a 2 min job to mod them for D2S bulbs
Another member already did this mod but didn't post too much info but I'll do a full writeup once I get started.

Here's a teaser of the cutoff without any mods using a phillips 85122+ bulb from ~12ft. Hard to tell from the camera phone pic but there is a purple and blue band all the way across the width of the cutoff, similar to the TSXs I had retroed into my 4thgen. I expect a lot of color at further distances

Make sure you specify you want a pair of left and right projectors with clear lenses, the fresnel lenses have a blurry cutoff
