Hello. I have a new to me 2014 Limited 4r. This usb didn't seem to do anything, so, I pulled out the dash to see it nicely zip tied underneath and plugged into nothing. I am thinking the previous owner had an aftermarket system installed or something. Can someone confirm my suspicions? Much appreciated. Notice the usb location right below the 4wd selector.

That is not a stock location for a USB plug, definitely done by previous owner.

Sure and based on the plug at the end of the wire it was never hard wired. Wonder if they had an aftermarket stereo and put original back in before trading.
By the things the previous owner did for this vehicle, I would almost guarantee it. Major aftermarket upgrades. As I did mods on my previous 4th gen, check out the sig on this one. Impulse purchase because it was to good to pass up.

Heck it's most of the stuff I've added, hopefully you got it for stock price! LE is nice with those mods! Memory and cooled seating would be posh...
