2014 Trail Premium Question

Hello T4R.org,

I'm new to this forum, not new to owning Toyota product. My wife and I just picked up a 2014 Trail PE. The thing is pretty awesome.

I was following my wife the other day into town and noticed that the 4runner doesn't sit level left to right. When we got home you could see that its noticable to the naked eye. I took a tape measure and the right side of the truck with a full tank and wife sitting in the truck and the passenger side was almost an inch shorter then the drivers side. Does this type of rake sound right?? I took it to the dealer and they said it falls within factory specs. We just cracked 1000 miles and have hit some mild trails to see if it will settle level.

Well that explains it, I kinda had a feeling it had something to do with KDSS. Thanks for the google tip.

I became a new member here no too long ago and I can speak from personal experience. Use the search function when you can. The forum nazis on here will give you hell if you ask a question regarding a topic that has already been touched upon. It's the KDSS thing, I bought my 14 TE premium with KDSS 2 months ago it has the same problem (lean to the passenger side, 7/8" front and 3/4" rear) now after 2 months and 1600 miles, it had level out to just 3/8 front, 1/4 rear. I bought a 1/4" front spacer from 4wheeler, plan to install when I have time, will report later of the outcome.

It is a beautiful ride and very happy that I traded my 12 SR5 4x4 for this.

I don't believe it is solely caused by KDSS as others have reported having it on other models, including my Limited.

This http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/76061-does-your-4runner-lean-driver-side-2.html thread mentions things like battery, gas tank, and driver weight as causes. Sounds like a spacer is required if you want to change the appearance at rest.
